Artist's Comments

Collograph is a technique in printmaking.
The plate is made from a cereal box , I collaged the surface with a variety of mediums. I also etched back into the surface. As a result, the plate may print as both relief and intaglio.

This is really impressive. The eye is perfectly positioned and framed to jump right out at you with his facial expression, and despite the different textures it doesn't feel unfinished.

Thanks. It is still unfinished :D Its my first print from this plate, i might add some plastic tape to bring out the profiles of the face.
I just noticed that there is a "7" in there.. weird as I called it 07 portrait :)
